easter basket gift guide

tiny bunny (newborn -1 year)

we sang you home book: super simple + beautiful board book with the sweetest message

wooden egg rattles: comes in a pack of 4, perfect for splitting between multiple baskets :)

wooden rainbow stacker: there’s so many good versions of these on etsy but I love this one for the muted colors + price

orgami bath boat: comes in a few different colors, doesn’t squirt so no mold worries

toddler no spill sippy cup: love how small these are, dishwasher safe, leak proof, really cute color options

h&m pj set: comes as a set, SO soft, a few different options, the floral one is my fav

hopping push rabbit: a little on the more expensive side but so cute, it’s also like an heirloom piece that will last forever + get passed down :)

wooden + silicone ring teether: couple options for color ways but I love this one the most, also I always recommend a half wooden/half silicone teether cause babies like both

mushie stacking cups: I honestly recommend these all the way up to like 3 or 4, I love the colors and even though it feels basic, babies + toddlers all just really love to stack lol

mimi the mushroom teether: to be honest, I have not tried this yet but the reviews speak for themselves, apparently it’s really widely loved :)

senger naturwelt bunny: this is the most perfect bunny/stuffed animal of all time, it’s on the spendy side but it’s so cute, perfectly sized, kids LOVE them + they’re amazing quality, worth the price in my opinion

magic bunny book board book: cute, perfectly on theme for easter, board book

waffle baby blankets: love the color options on this site + love the texture of waffle knit, I find it to be the perfect stroller blanket in any kind of weather

mini bunny (1 -3 years)

yum yummy yuck book: simple, adorably illustrated board book

candylab school bus: I know this seems expensive for a little car but they are really good quality and kids just LOVE them

native water shoes: we love these shoes for every day but they’re especially good for the summer since you can fully submerge them in water, great for water parks or public water fountains when you don’t want your kids to be completely barefoot + obviously super easy to clean, comes in tons of fun colors and all the way to adult sizes

wooden safari animals: I love that these are sold in a set, a lot of the beautiful painted wooden animals are all sold individually which gets really expensive

wooden rainbow wand: we have one of these and they’re so fun, on sale right now too

customized name puzzle: can be spendy depending on how long your child’s name is, they offer free message engraving on the back which I think is so sweet, either a message from you or the easter bunny ;)

nico the narwhal: I’m all about a classic bunny or chicklet in the easter basket but I also love a unique stuffy here + there, this is the one

wooden airplane: option to customize with your child’s name which is so sweet but I really love how affordable this is for a handcrafted wooden toy

bunny bag: just love this for easter

mini play workbench: pretty adorable, love all the fun colors + the size makes it a space saver compared to some of the other larger workbenches that are hard to find room for

wooden balancing stones: also often called stacking rocks, these are more affordable than some of the other sets you’ll find, this is another item I recommend way past this age, my 6 year old loves these too

4 piece audio sensory puzzle: super cute, also serves two purposes, it’s obviously a puzzle but each puzzle piece also makes a different sound so they double as little noise makers too :)

bunny suitcase doll: I just love this so much, the bunny’s little bag with carrots, the suitcase being a bunny head, the whole thing is just too good

simple words puzzle pairs: another two in one kind of deal, puzzles for hand eye coordination + matching visuals with words, fun + educational

when I am big book: this is a counting book and of course, has the best illustrations (you can tell I choose our books based on them hehe)

little bunny (3 - 6 years)

rain boots: the perfect classic yellow rain boot, also comes in the best pastel blue + if they’re sold out on target, google the brand, lots of different places carry these :)

space stamp set: pretty good price for 16 stamps + I think these are so unique and cool

tea set: I looked at so many tea sets and I chose this one because it’s super gender neutral and that it comes with little tea bags

caldwell the crab: again - I like non traditional stuffies for holidays, bunnies are cute (but a little boring) + just look at this guy, I love him

up in the garden and down in the dirt book: sweetest book about gardens and gardening

flower clips: these are really good quality and come in THE BEST colors, also they are guaranteed for life

hopscotch mat: wipeable, indoor hopscotch mat, so good, I imagine this being a good joint gift since it’s fun for kids to use together and it’s spendy

gardening set: I love that these look just like ones adults would use with no extra colors or patterns, that stuff is obviously cute but I find my kids want to use things that look JUST like what I use

wooden name tracing board: customized with your child’s name, this is so good for kids learning to write

fairy skirt: made of 100% real silk, handmade + SO beautiful, fits kids from 3-9 and comes in some really fun color ways

yoga flash cards: fun activity for you to do with your child, I also really love the illustrations on these cards and how they show adults doing the poses with the child

dinosaur activity book: has a ton of different activities that are a mix of coloring and mind exercises

doctor set: I love this so so much, it’s a little 6 piece handmade set + it will last forever

wooden woodland animals: another set from tender leaf, I like this one cause it’s a little more reasonably priced for the same number of animals

big bunny (6+ years)

seeds and trees book: sweet book about the power of words

floral basketball: nothing much to say about this, I just love it so much

wooden yo yo: fun, affordable little gift for an older kid looking to master a new skill

wooden specimen collecting kit: this is the sweetest little kit with tiny glass jars to storage your curious kid’s nature finds

3-in-1 card deck: three fun card games for you to play with your child or for siblings to play together

lion model: this model snaps together in a couple pieces and comes with a magnetic backdrop for playing, this site also has quite a few other animal models

small crossbody backpack: I don’t even think this is for kids but since it’s small it works, it’s super gender neutral + seems like the type of bag that would age well even when it’s starting to get dirty + well loved, kind of like white converse

coral swimsuit: love this swimsuit so much, poke around this site, they have great affordable swimsuits for all ages + lots of colors/patterns

instax mini polaroid: you can definitely get these for cheaper elsewhere like costco + amazon but I just love this color + of course it’s an urban outfitters exclusive color…lol

velvet hair bow: same brand as the flower clips so again, guaranteed for life, really really good quality, amazing colors and two different sizes of bows

lovely beasts book: this is the best book that highlights all the sweet facts about animals we think of to be scary

rain boots: gosh I love every single color they have in these, super durable, kennedy has them and says they’re super comfortable too

instant paper airplanes kit: taking the frustration of paper airplanes, these pop out and are super easy to put together, they come with a slingshot launcher and a full color instruction book

baskets

I know most people already have baskets specifically for easter that they reuse every year but I still wanted to include this page for first time parents picking out an easter basket for the first time or maybe parents looking to switch it up. They range in price, size + style, so I hope there’s something that works for your family!

activities

I added a page of activities cause I found so many good ideas while creating the gift guide + I wanted to provide some springtime activities for those who don’t celebrate easter! However, a lot of these items could double as great easter basket gifts, too. :)

paint a bird house

wooden birdhouse kit: this comes with a couple colors and a paint brush if you don’t want to buy extra paints

outdoor paint set: I added these cause I know my kids would want more colors to choose from and all of these colors are only $7, also these are specially for outdoor use so they will weather ok :)

bird feed: affordable good sized bag of bird feed to add to your birdhouse when you’re done

make a fresh flower necklace

make your own flower necklace kit: I just love this so much, takes all the frustrating work of trying to weave or braid flower stems together, already has an easy magnet closure, also a good price

make some easter fridge magnets

wooden easter shapes + paint kit: comes 3 different shapes to paint, with paint included, when you’re done, add some adhesive magnets like these ones so that your child’s little creation can go to good use on the fridge or any other magnetic surface you have in your home :)

decorate easter eggs

dino friends easter decorating kit: I love these for younger kids that can’t totally participate in the actual dying of the eggs part of decorating

eco eggs coloring + grass growing kit: this is for the parents who have been wanting to try dying eggs with natural dyes but don’t know where to start or don’t want to go through tons of trouble :) this comes with the packets of powder, made from all natural vegetable and plant extracts, my favorite thing about this kit is that it comes with grass seeds and soil pucks with instructions to grow a grassy little bed for your eggs

plant some wildflowers

gardening tool set: these aren’t necessarily for kids, they’re normal sized but an older kid could totally use them so perfect for working together with, I love how simple + timeless they are

wildflower packets: you can obviously get wildflower packets from anywhere but I love the variety this site offers and how it allows you to pick the wildflowers you want in your collection by having the flowers in packets separately, opposed to all the wildflower seeds mixed together in a “wildflower seed” packet

watering can: just love the color of this :)

bake some springtime cupcakes

rainbow cake mix: I always recommend buying box cake mixes, they make life so much easier, the trick is to always switch out oil for butter and milk for water in the instructions

floral cupcake liners: no explantation, just think these are so adorable for spring

tulip cupcake toppers: super cute, come on little sticks, easy for small children to participate in the decorating process

children’s apron: comes in a ton of different colors and patterns

happy spring!!
